ADVERTORIAL · A PERSONAL STORY · 3 MIN READ
I never told anyone I stopped there. I didn't have to. The grocery bags did the telling.

It started as nothing. A pause on the landing between the second and third floor, bags down, hand on the rail, one breath before the last flight.
I told myself it was the bags. Then it was the heat. Then it was a long day.
But it kept happening on cool days too. And with light bags. And on days that weren't long at all.
I could get up the stairs fine. I just needed a moment I never used to need.
“It wasn't a problem. It was a question I didn't want to ask.”
More walks. Breathing exercises from a video. Opening the windows more. I even swapped the heavy bags for two lighter trips.
All good habits. None of them touched the landing.
And looking back, I can see why. Every single thing I tried was about doing more. Nothing was about giving my body something to work with.

A friend sent me an article about how the body's own defences quietly get less help over the years — from the air we breathe, from years of sitting, from ordinary wear — and how a handful of well-studied nutrients are used to support exactly that.
Not a cure. Not a promise. Just support, every day, the way you'd support your joints or your heart.
Magnesium glycinate. Alpha lipoic acid. Butcher's broom. L-carnitine. Turmeric. CoQ10. Names I could actually look up. So I did.

One capsule, with breakfast. That's the whole routine. Nothing to mix, nothing to remember twice.
Week one: honestly, nothing. I nearly stopped.
Week three: I got to the third floor and realised I hadn't put the bags down.
Now: the dog and I take the hill behind the house most mornings. I still notice the landing when I pass it. I just don't stop there any more.
That's my experience. Bodies are different, and I'd never promise you the same.
